SERIES INFORMATION:
My ongoing series Misouri Import serves as a digital realization of the prompt to “document whatever I find most compelling at the time.” You can think of it as a diary or scrapbook. The work does not follow traditional storytelling with characters and linear plots; instead, I use visual narratives to convey central ideas. Each video is composed of elements collected from real life—whether that be music, voices, or visual documentation. These are retellings of things I’ve noticed and experienced, reframed and preserved as fragments of memory.
